My Annoying husband :) I loveeeeee him

I absolutely love my husband

Sometimes I am selfish and ungrateful for   What I have, my husband recently started dedicating his weekends to our little family since we were seeing each other about 20 ish hours a week with our crazy busy schedules. I gotta say we're kinda like wine the longer were together the more I love him and the more our relationship is stronger.
Just a little background Justin is laid back no need for privacy and no knowledge of boundaries, I on the other hand was raised a whole lot more conservative . . . Keep your hands to yourself, no rough housing, bathroom business is bathroom business even toots, if you don't know if someone is in the bathroom you knock once and if they are they say occupied. . .

I have been trying to help get Justin to some sort of middle ground

And we had gotten some major improvement. . . Until today we have been getting along too well I guess he thought the boundaries disappeared ? Idk either way I was in the john when Justin slowly starts opening the door. . . REALLY ?!?!?
Anyways I thought ok I'm a little toooo mad idk if it's just this guy or what basically
IS THIS NORMAL !?!
So I thought in gonna chill before I blow up and see if this has happened to other people and MAN  I found some sites that cracked me up !
So it seems this happens to a lot of married folks and it gets people pretty annoyed . . . Annoyed enough to go on a website called

http://myhusbandisannoying.com

And to retaliate there is also this website 45 things to do to annoy your husband

I just gotta say sometimes you just gotta laugh. . .

Ahhhh my poor husband.
I love him to death !

The lion has left the den
Lately I have been feeling down, exhausted, I have felt overwhelmed, and like a failing parent.
Then I realized, NO I am not.
I love my child with all that I am, I do everything for him, I do the grocery shopping, I do the cleaning, I take out the trash, I drive 2 hrs to work and back, I sacrificed my sleep to take a 3-12 am shift so I can spend time with my son, I look to better my self, I found the best nanny to watch him while I am at work, I cook healthy meals for him, I make sure he knows he is loved, and even when I get here at 1:30  AM I still am the one that wakes up for him.
Well lets just say recently I have been having a harder time than usual with not nice people.
I have realized that I am WAY toooooo nice, to co-workers that think its ok or funny to splash water at my back when I honestly don't even know who you are, to people who answer for my weekend activities, I have one day Saturday for myself and my son leave it alone don't commit me to be some where I do not want to be, to those who have no respect I don't care how big your ego is, I will not let you step all over me while I'm trying to do MY BEST, I know that at times I do want to make life easier for people, but SHAME on people who take advantage of those who are trying to help. Like the spanish saying goes I would rather be not accompanied at all than with bad company.

ICE ICE BABY !!

Once again had to leave early from work due to the weather, I really need to get into a schedule again !! I miss my nanny ! Its crazy when you have someone to help you and then is gone for a bit you realize how much you appreciate them !!

anyways. . . so I had been complaining about how my cutie pie Julien was behaving pretty badly to a friend and she said, "GIRL YOU GOTTA SPANK HIM, just get him three good ones". Sooooo I did today he slapped me and I turned him around on my leg, butt up and gave him three spankings, he looked soooo shocked he cried & got over it. ALL day today he has been a complete angel, I am not usually a supporter for spanking but geez it was like a light switch. I hope that was the last time he ever gets a spanking.

Here is Julien's latest mischievous act:

some tips for the future:

Defusing tantrums

Acknowledge that she's frustrated. Your best first defense is to look your child in the eye and let her know you feel her pain. By saying "I know you want a cookie," or even just "I know you're upset," you're telling her you're there to help her feel better. That might be enough to calm her down so you can add, "I wish we could have cookies, too. It's too bad we can't right now."
Be silly. Laughter can be a great tantrum buster. If your child starts to pitch a fit about getting into the tub, try singing a goofy song  -- anything to make her giggle.
Try a distraction. Give her something else to think about. Try saying, "Let's finish shopping by picking out bananas together." Or if it's time to leave the park, but she doesn't want to, "How many dogs do you think we'll see on the drive home?"
Ignore it. Sometimes, tantrums escalate because your toddler thinks she'll get what she wants if she screams loud enough. If you don't react, she may give up.
Leave the scene. When all else fails, get out of line, off the slide, whatever. But do it without making a fuss  -- you'll be modeling calm behavior. It may be inconvenient, but it shows who's in control: you.

julien farnan's adventures

TODAY WAS SUCH A MONDAY

Today was hectic, I plan and plan on things I should do and so on and by the end of the day its completely different than I thought it would be.
But life is life and no matter how hard you try to change it it will take its course, I guess I should know that by know. Today my day can be summed up as Julien yanking the box of eggs to the floor and me slipping on yolk, to Ottis tripping over his bowl as he was chasing his ball and me slipping on the water he spilled, lets just say my back hurts today. I see all these well behaved children and such loving parents and I think how do they do it ?!??! I love my child to DEATH but today I thought I could sell Ottis and Julien two for the price of one to the zoo. Julien went from a crib to a toddler bed here recently and I was reading a blog of how long is too long for the cry it out method, and someone put anything over 30 min I though SERIOUSLY?? my son can cry for over an hr to not go to bed. . .  I do wish kids came with a owners manual.

yes .. . . that is a Kix on Ottis's head

Sunday
ITS FREEZING today brrr
Today is the Sabbath Sunday and Julien is such a cutie he has learned how to pray, and I absolutely LOVE it. I do think its better to teach our babies young then have to worry about them as teenagers, I want to teach Julien to learn to be patient and loving but sometimes I wonder about him when he is throwing his play guns to people. I think he will grow out of it, or at least I hope. It seemed like a blizzard today, I don't think I will be going to work tomorrow, and trust me I need it I feel like I'm going to stir crazy staying at home as much as I love baby Julien he is going through his terrible two's early and its been a nightmare !! Unfortunately my nanny's mother passed away so Justin or I will be staying home for a few days REMEMBER NEVER take for granted your family !!
Today it started off kinda rough my husband and I started getting snippy about how much I do vs him and it kinda went on, I knew we just had to  get out of the house even with the snow and all.  We came to my moms house and had taco salad and heard the missionaries speak about the holy spirit, and how its a still small voice, we gave our testimonies of the love of Christ and how his love is eternal and never ending.
Anyways Below i will add some activities that I will try tomorrow to possibly keep my sanity !!!!
* play doh
*Velcro Popsicle sticks
* Chalk and Board
* Magnetic Fishing

January 14th 2014!!!

Where is time going ???
Anyone that has a little one knows there is some type of fairy out there that comes robs you of your time and tightens your clothes in the night.
I am excited to start this blogging journal, maybe this will let me keep track of my days hooray's and my bad days when were going,  "goodness I wanted to hurt someone today!!". This way I can maybe make more hooray's and keep my GAHHHH's at bay.
Today it was a pretty good productive day I went to the nature food store did my grocery shopping which with a 19 month old feels like a work out I seriously started sweating fighting Julien into the shopping cart. I can recall about 3 tantrums, how can such a cutie be such a little monster!
I think my child came out a little too much like me, and lets just say I was a HORRIBLE child!
Hope the Lord grants me a lot of patience, love, and dopamine ;)

I'm going to add some info here that will help deal  little ones, and their mommas cope and help with the outbursts.

Ignoring the tantrums and helping a young child learn how to deal with anger and
frustration are often good ways to deal with tantrums. Pay attention to what starts the
tantrums. Knowing what triggers the tantrums can help you act before your child's
emotions get past the point where he or she can control them.
You may want to use time-outs if your child age 2 or older has a lot of tantrums. A time-out takes the
child out of the situation and gives him or her time to calm down. It also teaches the child that having
a temper tantrum is not acceptable behavior. Time-out works best for children who understand why it
is being used.
